Westfalen commissions refrigerant propane plant in Münster

After about 18 months of construction, the Westfalen Group has completed a new plant for high-purity propane as refrigerant R-290 at its Münster-Gelmer site and officially put it into operation. The product is mainly needed for heat pumps; the company describes the investment only as a low double-digit million euro sum and gives no job figures (Westfalen Group via Presseportal, 23 Oct 2026).
