Machine tool maker MAG IAS is giving up its Rottenburg am Neckar production site (CORCOM business unit of the FFG Group, making spindles, rotary tables and tool magazines among others); production is to end on 31 March 2027. Around 85 employees are affected, most of whom are to move to the MYPEGASUS transfer company, with only three design staff remaining. The company cites persistent restraint in customer investment and changed conditions in the automotive industry.
