Evonik to cut 3,200 more jobs under its Tailor Made programme

Evonik is extending the 'Tailor Made' efficiency programme and cutting a further 3,200 jobs by the end of 2029, around 2,150 of them in Germany (about 10 percent of the workforce). At the same time, the group is exiting the loss-making polyester business, and the Witten plant will close in 2027.
