At Iberdrola's Windanker offshore wind farm (315 MW, 21 Siemens Gamesa turbines of about 15 MW each) in the Baltic Sea off Rügen, the majority of turbines have been feeding power into Germany's high-voltage grid since 31 August 2026; the Ostwind 3 grid connection must be completed by end of September 2026, with full commissioning planned for Q4 2026. Windanker is part of Iberdrola's Baltic Hub cluster (with Wikinger and Baltic Eagle, about 1.1 GW combined). (Source: offshorewind.biz, 1 Sep 2026)
