Wabtec completes acquisition of coupler specialist Dellner Couplers

Wabtec Corporation reported on 11 February 2026 that it has completed its takeover of Dellner Couplers, a Swedish provider of couplers and gangway systems for passenger trains. According to its own figures Dellner has about 100,000 couplers and 12,500 gangways in service, production, assembly and service sites in 13 countries and more than 200 customers. Wabtec wants to strengthen its transit business and its range of safety-relevant systems for passenger transport; the report gives no purchase price. (LOK Report, 11 Feb 2026)
