The Stuttgart light-rail line U12, operated by Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG (SSB), was extended by roughly 1.1 kilometres from Wallgraben to Dürrlewang in the Vaihingen/Möhringen district on 13 May 2016, adding one intermediate stop. Construction took about three years, and the new Dürrlewang terminus serves a commercial/industrial area. The Wikipedia article "Stadtbahn Stuttgart" additionally confirms the Wallgraben–Dürrlewang route as part of the "Netz 2016" expansion.
