Synthos Green Energy secures funding for SMR build-out

Polish entrepreneurs including Rafał Brzoska, Mati Staniszewski and Michał Brański put in PLN 500m (about €114m); with PLN 1.35bn from foreign investors, funding is secured for two years. The plan covers BWRX-300 reactors, up to 26 in Poland and 14 at three UK sites; the joint venture with Orlen is to be able to build two reactors after an agreement in September (Notes from Poland, 1 Oct 2026).
