The third section of Stuttgart's U12 light-rail line connects the former terminus Hallschlag, via the new Bottroper Straße stop, to Aubrücke in Stuttgart-Münster, where it links up with the U14 line. The roughly 1.1 km stretch includes a tunnel of about 500 m descending into the Neckar valley and entered service with the "Netz 2018" timetable change on 9 December 2017; construction ran from 2013 to 2017.
