Prinz-Mayweg group gets protective shield, hitting 310 jobs

On 9 September 2026 the Essen district court ordered preliminary protective/restructuring measures for three linked companies of the Prinz-Mayweg group (steel tube maker); around 310 employees are affected across the German sites of Altena (150), Wickede (110), Werl (20) and Werl-Westönnen (30).
