Road authority builds Wolgast bypass with Peene bridge by 2029

According to the project lead at the Schwerin road authority, the new town entrance at Wolgast is finished, platforms for the bridge piers are in place and about 200 people work at the harbour berth. The bridge of over 1.4 km is still to be built; the bypass is to open at the end of 2029 as things stand, after an earlier date had been given. The project is put at about €500m.
