The Swiss building materials group Holcim is acquiring the German wall systems provider Xella to expand its business in sustainable construction products. Update (19.06.2026): Holcim has completed the acquisition of Xella, which according to the group brings projected 2026 net sales of around €1bn (Holcim media release, 19.06.2026).
