At Berlin's only U-Bahn station where four lines (U1 to U4) meet, BVG is repairing the roughly 250 m² intermediate ceiling of the lower platform level from 12 Jan 2026, with completion planned for mid-May 2026. Line U2 keeps running every four minutes throughout the four-month works, while the other lines rely on interchange routes and replacement buses. Announced on 24 Nov 2025. BVG finished the works on 10 May 2026; U4 runs again and U1 and U3 run through again, with no restrictions from Monday morning. (LOK Report, 24 Nov 2025; second source: BVG, 8 May 2026)
