New tram Line 13 replaces the overloaded bus Line 37. Route: 2.5 km from Industriehof via Schloßstraße, Messe, main station into the Gutleutviertel. 6 new stops (including Werftstraße, Zanderstraße, Baseler Platz, Briefzentrum). New turning loops, connection to the Gutleut depot. Stops for 60 m double units. Redesign of Baseler Platz with more green spaces. Construction start 2029, construction time approx. 3 years. Part of the local transport plan 2025+.
