PZL Mielec starts production of S-70 Firehawk firefighting helicopter

PZL Mielec has started production of Europe's first Sikorsky S-70 Firehawk aerial firefighting helicopters; the first two aircraft go to the Czech Interior Ministry and the RescEU pool. The plant works with over 1,200 regional suppliers and sustains about 5,000 EU jobs. No new-job or investment figures disclosed.
