The originally listed DB project page (bauprojekte.deutschebahn.com/p/s13) was unreachable (404); the following facts are therefore taken from the Wikipedia article on the Cologne S-Bahn. For the S13, the right-bank Rhine line between Troisdorf and Bonn-Oberkassel is being expanded to four tracks, with two new stops at Bonn-Ramersdorf and Bonn-Vilich (an interchange with the Sieg line); planning approval has been final since October 2013, construction began on 29 November 2016, and the investment volume is about EUR 750 million. Per DB statements from July 2024, the Troisdorf–Bonn-Beuel section is expected to be completed by end of 2026, while the remaining section to Bonn-Oberkassel is unlikely to begin before 2030.
