Announced on 26 Oct 2026: PKP PLK has published the tender under the Kolej Plus programme to rebuild the rail link to Poland's largest city without rail. It covers about 8 km of electrified line up to 120 km/h from Pawłowice Śląskie to Jastrzębie-Zdrój with a new station and four halts; deputy minister Malepszak wants the works finished by the end of 2030, so the year is a placeholder (Puls Biznesu, 26 Oct 2026).
