Riffgat wind farm off Borkum with 113 MW is operational

The Riffgat offshore wind farm is located in the North Sea about 15 km northwest of the island of Borkum and comprises 30 Siemens Gamesa SWT-3.6-120 turbines (3.78 MW each) with a total installed capacity of 113 MW. It is operated by EWE and Enova Energiesysteme and was commissioned on 12 February 2014. Between November 2015 and April 2016 grid-connection problems temporarily halted power export; the farm has been operational since.
