METRANS completes expansion of Gądki container terminal near Poznań

HHLA subsidiary METRANS has finished expanding its hub terminal at Gądki near Poznań: two new remote-controlled rail cranes spanning 80 m each, two additional loading tracks, three existing tracks extended to more than 750 m and 53,000 m² of new paved yard raise storage capacity from 8,850 to 11,800 TEU and annual handling capacity by almost 80% to around 590,000 TEU. No investment figure was given; the date used is that of the completion announcement (HHLA via LOK Report, 01.10.2026).
