The Gode Wind 1 & 2 offshore wind farm is located in the North Sea about 40 km northwest of Norderney and was commissioned in June 2017. It comprises 97 Siemens turbines (55 at Gode Wind 1, 42 at Gode Wind 2) with a total installed capacity of 582 MW. The operator is Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy), which acquired the projects in 2012; a EUR 2.2 billion investment decision was announced in November 2013.
