The new Lindau-Reutin transport station is the new long-distance and regional-rail station in Lindau's Reutin district, with four tracks and two barrier-free platforms. It opened with the timetable change on 13 December 2020, together with the electrification of the Munich-Lindau line; long-distance trains from Austria and Switzerland now stop in Reutin instead of using the time-consuming reversal at the old island station. The new station building cost over EUR 23 million, while the full upgrade of the Lindau rail junction cost around EUR 230 million.
