The delegates' meeting of Volksbank Krefeld approved unanimously on 8 July 2026; the new institution will operate as Volksbank Düsseldorf Krefeld Neuss. Technical merger planned for autumn 2026. Update (5 October 2026): The merger has been completed; Volksbank Krefeld absorbed Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss, and the new Volksbank Düsseldorf Krefeld Neuss has 580 employees and total assets of €4.6bn (Börsen-Zeitung, 5 October 2026).
