Musashi closes its Leinefelde machining unit, cutting 200 jobs

Closure of the machining operation in Leinefelde; 200 employees affected. The forge with 60 jobs will be retained until at least 2028 (agreed in an arbitration round). Severance payments, further qualification and job assistance are planned. Reason: a decline in demand for combustion-engine components in the wake of the automotive crisis.
