GBM Gleisbaumechanik buys site with two halls in Kirchmöser

GBM Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg has bought a neighbouring site of about 15,000 m² at the Kirchmöser rail location in Brandenburg an der Havel, which includes two workshop halls with a combined floor area of over 3,600 m². The company, which modernises, builds and services rail vehicles, plans to expand service and storage capacity there, streamline processes and hire additional skilled staff, without giving a number; it currently has about 220 employees. The investment amount is not disclosed (LOK Report, 9 Apr 2026).
