According to DVF (statement of 9 October 2025), the coalition committee commits to more flexibility in the Infrastructure and Climate Neutrality special fund (SVIK), gives Autobahn GmbH borrowing capacity and provides a further €3 billion

According to Brandenburg's infrastructure minister Detlef Tabbert, the federal government provides an additional €3 billion from the special fund for federal trunk roads in 2026–2029; DVF calls this a first step but criticises the open funding gap, flexibility granted only year by year and the lack of money for new construction and expansion of rail, waterways and ports.

According to a statement by DVF of 9 October 2025, the coalition committee agreed on more flexibility in the Infrastructure and Climate Neutrality special fund (SVIK), borrowing capacity for Autobahn GmbH and a further €3 billion; the added flexibility, however, applies only on an annual basis. At the transport ministers' conference in Straubing at the end of October, Brandenburg's infrastructure minister Detlef Tabbert welcomed that the federal government is providing an additional €3 billion from the special fund for federal trunk roads in 2026 to 2029 and called for the remaining gap closures on the A14 to start quickly. DVF calls the money an important first step but misses proposals for closing the overall funding gap, a timetable for reforming the funding structures and investment in new construction and expansion of rail, waterways and port infrastructure.
