PKP Intercity has selected INTOP as general contractor for the rebuilding of the stabling yard and the construction of the service centre in Białystok: contract value PLN 37.9 million gross, nine bids, a construction period of at most 14 months from signing, and construction starting in the fourth quarter of 2026; the core is a hall about 60 m long with a maintenance track and inspection pit, plus about 1.4 km of new track for over 50 wagons. The 2025–2030 investment plan provides for further facilities: a complete maintenance plant in Poznań (completion 2028–2029), a comprehensive technical facility in Bydgoszcz (2030), the rebuilding of the existing depot in Katowice (fourth quarter of 2030) and a staged rebuild in Wrocław. New service centres in Przemyśl, Warsaw, Lublin, Łódź and Kraków are also planned, as are almost 100 smaller projects by 2030 worth over PLN 0.5 billion; no figure is given for new jobs.
