SAP has completed the acquisition of Tübingen-based AI startup Prior Labs (pioneer of tabular foundation models), agreed on 4 May 2026. SAP plans to invest more than €1bn over the next four years to build it into a leading frontier AI lab for structured enterprise data; Prior Labs will continue as an independent unit with its own brand and leadership.
