RegioJet announced on 10 April 2026 that it will end its Polish domestic services Kraków–Warsaw–Gdynia and Poznań–Warsaw on 3 May 2026; passengers are to be refunded by 15 April 2026 and can claim PLN 100 compensation. The operator entered the Polish market on 18 September 2025 with a Kraków–Warsaw train and, by its own account, blames obstruction by PKP Intercity and its parent PKP SA, including price cuts of up to 70% by PKP Intercity, a blocked depot in Warsaw-Praga bought at auction on 7 August 2025 and a lack of sales points at stations. The international services Przemyśl–Kraków–Prague and Warsaw–Prague continue; owner Radim Jančura does not rule out a return under fair market conditions, and the report gives no staff numbers.
