Boerse Stuttgart wins DLT licence for trading and settlement system

Banks, brokers and trading venues can connect to Seturion; cost savings of up to 90% are promised; flatexDEGIRO, Nasdaq and Société Générale have announced their connection.

The licence follows a process involving ESMA, the ECB and BaFin; according to the exchange group it is the first DLT licence for a European exchange group. It allows the group to operate Seturion, the platform launched in September 2025, for settling tokenised assets.
