The Dutch competition authority ACM published on 31 July 2026 the merger filing under which Germany's Dalli group intends to acquire sole control of Italy's Farmol S.p.A. through its subsidiary Dalli-Werke Wäsche- und Körperpflege Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH; the request was submitted on 24 July 2026. Both companies make personal care and household care products, Farmol exclusively as a contract manufacturer for third parties. Dalli also runs its own brands and operates two plants in the Netherlands, which is why the filing was made with the ACM; Farmol has no Dutch sites. No purchase price was disclosed. Update (03.10.2026): The ACM cleared the acquisition on 11 August 2026, finding that sufficient competition would remain; completion has not yet been reported (ACM). Update (24 Oct 2026): Lebensmittel Zeitung reports that the Dalli Group has closed the Farmol acquisition after antitrust clearance; Farmol now belongs to the group (Lebensmittel Zeitung, 6 Oct 2026).
