Mutares completes purchase of Steinmüller Engineering from IHI

Investment firm Mutares has completed its acquisition of the German thermal-process engineering specialist from Japan's IHI Group. Steinmüller has total output of close to €100m and, according to the company, has delivered more than 1,300 projects for over 500 customers in 80 countries; the short release does not state the price. The announcement date of the deal is not documented here, so the entry date is the completion day (Mutares via Oslo Børs, 15 Oct 2026).
