Danish wind turbine component maker Jupiter Bach is building a 1,000 sqm assembly hall on roughly one hectare in Cuxhaven for nacelle bases — core structural components of wind turbines — with a further 1,000 sqm extension planned. The state of Lower Saxony is supporting the facility, costing up to €4.5m, with a €650,000 grant; completion and start of operations are scheduled for early 2027. Until then an interim production line runs at Cuxport, right next to the Siemens Gamesa plant, currently turning out about four nacelle bases per week. The announcement gives no figure for jobs created.
