Generali Deutschland to cut 800 jobs and give up three sites

Generali Deutschland plans to remove roles equivalent to 800 jobs by the end of 2030 and give up its Aachen, Nuremberg and Stuttgart sites (250 staff in Stuttgart) in favour of Cologne, Munich and Karlsruhe. The reduction is to come through attrition, retirement and voluntary schemes; according to Stuttgarter Zeitung a job guarantee without compulsory redundancies applies until 2030.
