Poland's government adopts 2027 draft budget with a 7.1% of GDP deficit

Spending PLN 977.6bn, revenue PLN 695bn, deficit PLN 282.6bn (7.1% of GDP) against the pledged target of 3.7%

Defence gets PLN 198.1bn (4.5% of GDP), health PLN 274.1bn; debt service rises to PLN 107bn. The government assumes 3% growth and 2.8% inflation; parliament and President Nawrocki still have to approve (Notes from Poland, 28 Aug 2026).
