Canada's Cronos Group announced on 9 December 2025 the purchase of Voorne aan Zee-based CanAdelaar, the largest operator in the Dutch adult-use cannabis pilot; the base price is €57.5m, plus contingent payments of 0.5 times normalised EBITDA for 2026 and 2027. Update (15 October 2026): the acquisition has been completed; CanAdelaar operates a greenhouse of about 50,000 m² (Cronos Group, 15 October 2026).
