HP to cut up to 6,000 jobs worldwide by 2028

HP is cutting between 4,000 and 6,000 jobs by 2028 (around 10% of the workforce) to save $1 bn over three years. Affected: product development, administration, customer service. Already in early 2025, 2,000 jobs were cut as part of an earlier savings package. CEO Lores warns of margin pressure from rising memory-chip prices starting in H2 2026.
