The upgrade of the Magdeburg–Halberstadt railway line (Saxony-Anhalt) aims to enable 120 km/h operation throughout and cut travel time to 40 minutes, at a total cost of about EUR 55 million. According to the German Wikipedia article on the Magdeburg–Thale line, construction section 1 Magdeburg–Blumenberg (excluding platforms) was commissioned in 2018, not on 10 Dec 2017 as stated in the original list — no source found confirms that exact date. The former Blumenberg stop itself was discontinued as part of the upgrade.
