Micross Components to acquire Berlin electronics maker AEMtec

US supplier Micross Components, a Behrman Capital portfolio company, signed a definitive agreement on 28 July 2026 to acquire Berlin-based AEMtec GmbH from private equity firm capiton. AEMtec builds complex micro- and optoelectronic modules and provides advanced packaging and test services for high-reliability applications, with sites in Berlin, Dresden and Boston. For Micross it is the first scaled foothold in continental Europe alongside existing plants in the United Kingdom and Denmark. No purchase price was disclosed; closing is expected in the second half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
