RTL Deutschland plans to cut around 600 jobs due to declining advertising revenue and the transformation towards streaming. The restructuring is to be carried out in a socially responsible manner (partial early retirement, severance payments, support offers). RTL+ is being expanded (more than 6.6 mn subscribers). The DJV criticises the measure.
