Since the timetable change, Deggendorf station on the Landshut–Bayrisch Eisenstein line has been run from a new electronic interlocking of DB InfraGO that replaces the old relay technology; trains are monitored and controlled from the operator workstation of the Landau (Isar) interlocking. The federal government and DB spent about EUR 17.5 million on it (19 signals, 29 axle counters, about 27 km of signal cable, 25 possible routes in the main station); the new technology later allows track extensions and changes to the track layout. The date is a placeholder: the commissioning day is not given, so the day of the report is used. (LOK Report, 16 Dec 2025)
