Greek construction and infrastructure group AKTOR and oil group Motor Oil signed a binding agreement on 5 August 2026 under which AKTOR acquires 75% of MANETIAL Limited, the parent company of waste management firms ILEKTOR (ELEKTOR) and THALIS E.S. Enterprise value on a 100% basis is put at EUR 300 million; the two companies operate seven waste treatment plants and generated around EUR 40.8 million in EBITDA in 2025. Closing is expected in the first quarter of 2027, subject to antitrust clearance.
