Hermes Airports expands terminals in Paphos and Larnaca for €170m

Hermes Airports is financing the €170m second expansion phase of the two airports, under construction since March 2025: Paphos is due in April 2027 and will then handle 5 instead of 2.7 million passengers a year, Larnaca in September 2027 with capacity rising from 7.5 to 12.4 million. The date 30 Sep 2027 applies to the last section; the figures come from the transport ministry's data to parliament (Cyprus Mail, 16 Oct 2026, citing Philenews).
