Vimeo: a second wave of layoffs after the takeover by Bending Spoons (November 2025, $1.38 bn = $7.85/share). Already after the takeover: 10% of jobs cut. Specific figures for the second round are not known. Bending Spoons is known for taking radical action in takeovers (also at Evernote, Meetup, Wetransfer, Streamyard, Komoot). At Komoot: ~75% of employees dismissed. Vimeo (founded in 2004 in NYC) was publicly listed in 2021 and is now being taken private.
